Gold Misfortune Cat by Ferg, signed on the bottom, 4" tall. Comes loose in clear bag. When creating his iconographic pieces, Clay (FERG) Ferguson has a strong reverence for the straight line. Simplistic yet striking imagery is produced by reducing objects to their most basic shapes and colors. Currently residing in Austin with his wife (artist Sarah Ferguson) and daughter "G," Ferg was born in Texas in 1970. Graphic design, product design and manufacturing, machining, grinding, painting, and the occasional trip to the skate park fill his days. Titanium and tool steel are typically used to make his tools. He used Magic Sculp, foam, plaster, and epoxy glue to make his sculpture. On canvas and paper, he uses acrylic, spray paint, and screen printing for his paintings, and soft vinyl, fabric, and ABS are used for his toys.
