Red Demon Black Bean Edition by Muttpop. Original box, edition of 250, stands 8" tall. Baptiste Gaubert (Gobi), a French comic book creator, was born and raised in Nîmes, where he developed a deep love for Japanese animation. He went to Camargue High School and enrolled in the Applied Arts program, where he met Bill Otomo. Later, the two traveled to Strasbourg to study deocrative arts and collaborate with Fabien Mense on the animated movie "Catfish Hôtel." They made their comic book debuts in Tchô! magazine with the "Zblu Cops" series, which was printed in Glénat books between 2005 and 2011. In 2008 and 2009, Gobi served as the sole artist for the spin-off series "Tequila" from Jerry Frisen's anthology series "Lucha Libre" (Les Humanodes Associés).
