Golden Skull Brain of Emilio Garcia, 2015 Porcelain 12 x 12 x 16 in (30.5 x 30.5 x 40.6 cm) Limited to 15 copies Emilio Garcia is well-known for creating toys that mimic the strange structures of the human brain. Among his most famous sculpture mash-ups are the Skull Brain, Brainade (shaped like a grenade), SpongeBrain (looking like SpongeBob SquarePants), and Jumping Brain (a brain with frogs' legs). Garcia, who was born in Spain, earned a degree in graphic design from the Escola d'Art i Disseny de Tarragona in 1999. Garcia has participated in presentations at the International Museum of Surgical Science (2013) and the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (2011), as well as international galleries and toy fairs.
