Touma is one of the most prolific toy designers in Japan and his characters are known worldwide for their snarling grins, angular features or exaggerated proportions. Touma was a character designer who spent ten years in a video game studio. Since 2001, he has worked as a freelance figure artist, doing solo exhibits and signing sessions not only in Japan but also in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the United States. He has worked with a variety of well-known characters, including those from Monster Hunter, Star Wars, Ultraman, Ultra Seven, Transformers, Alien vs. Predator, Masked Rider, Godzilla, and the Power Rangers.
